What you'll do

• Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• administer and record prescribed medications
• report adverse reactions
• educate patients about surgical procedures and post-treatment care
• record medical information and vital signs
• monitor specialized equipment and electronic displays
• respond to adverse symptoms and life-saving situations
• provide bedside care
• change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
• assist physicians during examinations and treatment
• participate in discharge planning
• document care accurately and promptly
• float among clinical services when qualified and competent.
