The engineer owns technical execution for an aircraft fuel system from requirements and architecture through design, integration, testing, flight, and operational support. The role contributes to delivering a reliable, mission-ready autonomous aircraft system by coordinating across engineering, supplier, manufacturing, test, and flight teams.

What you'll do

• Serve as Responsible Engineer for the aircraft fuel system
• own requirements, architecture, interfaces, hardware, and technical decisions
• design and integrate fuel tanks, pumps, valves, plumbing, venting, pressurization, filtration, and level sensing
• analyze system performance across aircraft operating conditions
• lead design reviews, supplier engagements, and hardware procurement
• plan and execute component, subsystem, and vehicle-level testing
• analyze ground and flight data
• lead failure investigations and root-cause efforts
• work with engineering, technician, manufacturing, supply-chain, test, and flight teams to build, integrate, troubleshoot, and iterate flight hardware.
