The Residential Counselor I/II role is onsite at Beeler House in Aurora, CO, with a 5–10 p.m. schedule Monday through Friday. Compensation is $27.79 per hour for Counselor I or $30.12 per hour for Counselor II; bilingual proficiency may add $1–$2.50 per hour. WellPower’s mission is to foster mental health through strength, resilience, and hope. The counselor provides direct support to residents with severe and persistent mental illness, helping them build daily living skills and move toward recovery. The role contributes to continuity of care through therapeutic support, coordination with a multidisciplinary team, documentation, and a safe, trauma-informed residential environment.

What you'll do

• Provide individual psychotherapy and facilitate group therapy
• coordinate clinical care with case management and other services
• assess residents and provide appropriate interventions
• teach and support activities of daily living
• assist with treatment and continuity of care
• complete intake and discharge tasks
• maintain household safety
• document significant interactions and clinical records
• respond to emergencies
• advocate for community acceptance and integration
• attend scheduled team meetings
• maintain a trauma-informed environment.
