Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) position is onsite in Battle Creek, MI, on a full-time schedule, with pay of $37–$43 per hour. The RN works under the supervision of the Unit Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, and/or Director of Nursing. The RN is accountable for a group of residents or a shift, providing and evaluating nursing care while maintaining resident safety. The role also supervises nursing assistants and coordinates care in accordance with resident care plans, facility policies, and applicable standards.

What you'll do

• Assess, implement, and evaluate resident care
• make rounds and monitor resident conditions
• provide licensed care as ordered
• supervise certified nursing assistants and other care activities
• review care plans
• report changes to nursing leadership and physicians
• take and record vital signs
• administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, catheter care, and respiratory care within license limitations and as ordered
• document care
• support admissions, transfers, and discharges
• maintain infection control and resident safety.
