The Aquatics Operations & Customer Experience Manager – Part-Time role is primarily in person in Brentwood, CA, with additional remote administrative, scheduling, and meeting work as needed. Compensation is $23–$25 per hour. The role supports British Swim School’s mission of “Every Age. Every Stage.” and helps families develop swimming and water safety skills. The manager leads aquatics and customer service teams while coordinating schedules, customer support, administrative and financial processes, safety, and performance across locations. The role contributes to enrollment, retention, service quality, and operational improvement.

What you'll do

• Hire, train, develop, and manage Aquatics Managers, swim instructors, and customer service representatives
• handle customer service escalations
• manage instructor schedules, lesson coverage, staffing changes, and daily operations
• oversee onsite, phone, and email customer service
• manage customer accounts, tuition, billing, records, and class management systems
• support retention, revenue, enrollment, staffing efficiency, and service excellence
• maintain safety standards and the Emergency Action Plan
• lead management meetings and coordinate employee training
• maintain business relationships
• manage inventory and submit purchase orders
• assist with software and automation initiatives
• identify and implement operational improvements.

Why this role

Part-time role with 15–20 in-person hours per week, primarily weekdays from 3:30 PM–8:00 PM and weekends from 8:30 AM–1:30 PM, plus remote work as needed. Three or more years of leadership experience is preferred. Must be able to swim; lifeguard, CPR, or First Aid certifications are preferred and may be obtained during employment.
