The Human Resources Manager is an onsite, full-time role based in Lebanon, IN, supporting client sites across Indiana, Missouri, and Tennessee, with up to 25% travel. Salary is $80,000–$90,000 per year. Verde Clean’s HR team supports operations and promotes healthier spaces, stronger teams, safety, and sustainability. The role provides hands-on HR partnership for approximately 80–90 employees across the employee lifecycle. It supports managers and frontline employees through employee relations, hiring and onboarding, leave administration, compliance, safety coordination, payroll data, engagement, and retention.

What you'll do

• Serve as an HR resource for employees and site managers across a three-state territory
• coach managers on performance, attendance, corrective action, and separations
• conduct and document workplace investigations
• support hiring, onboarding, I-9 and E-Verify, and first-90-day check-ins
• manage FMLA, ADA accommodations, and leave requests
• coordinate workers’ compensation claims
• maintain employment compliance and personnel records
• partner on safety reporting, OSHA recordkeeping, and training
• maintain employee information in ADP and coordinate payroll corrections
• track turnover, conduct exit interviews, and support engagement initiatives.
