What you'll do

• Review patient demographics, insurance information, codes, charges, and documentation for claim accuracy
• verify coverage and authorizations
• prepare, submit, and monitor claims
• investigate denials and submit corrections or appeals as appropriate
• follow up on unpaid claims and aging balances
• post payments and adjustments
• respond to patient billing questions
• communicate with payers
• maintain documentation in accordance with HIPAA and billing requirements
• collaborate with the Billing Manager, providers, and internal teams.

Why this role
