What you'll do

• Provide legal opinions and general counsel services
• investigate and evaluate claims by and against the Town
• negotiate or litigate claims
• conduct discovery and motion practice
• represent the Town in trials, hearings, appeals, and administrative proceedings
• handle insurance coverage matters
• draft and review contracts, legislation, policies, correspondence, and litigation documents
• advise at public meetings and hearings.

Why this role
