Coastal Horizons provides recovery-based support to clients pursuing health, wellness, and recovery goals. The specialist helps clients engage with treatment and recovery resources, including individuals seeking treatment while incarcerated. The role supports care coordination, resource access, and continuity of recovery services through client engagement and documentation.

What you'll do

• Provide recovery-based supportive services

• coordinate care and transport clients if needed

• encourage engagement with therapy, psychiatric appointments, wellness services, recovery support, and primary care

Why this role

Peer support specialist certification and a high school diploma or higher are required. Personal experience as a mental health or substance use treatment consumer, or equivalent experience, is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday.
