What you'll do

• Obtain patient vitals and medical history
• prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures
• ensure ordered tests are completed accurately and promptly
• administer prescribed medications and treatments
• draw blood and prepare laboratory samples
• perform lab tests and quality controls
• complete drug screening procedures
• document immunizations
• make referrals and pre-certifications
• prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments
• maintain accurate records.
