Compassionate Caregiver

Job overview

The Compassionate Caregiver role is onsite in Rigby, ID, with shifts available around the clock, seven days a week, depending on assignment and availability; hours are not guaranteed. Pay is $15–$17 per hour. Evermore Home Care provides in-home senior care focused on adding life to clients’ years. The caregiver supports clients’ daily needs through companionship, personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and other listed services. The work helps seniors remain supported in their homes and includes reminders about prescribed medication and assistance with Alzheimer’s or dementia care.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship and personal care
• remind clients to take prescribed medication
• assist with walking, mobility, and physical therapy exercises
• accompany clients to appointments and stores
• plan and prepare meals
• assist with Alzheimer’s or dementia care
• perform light housekeeping.

Why this role

Caregiving experience is not required by the overview, though the qualifications specify at least one year of professional experience working with seniors.
