Occupational Health Nurse (RN)

The Occupational Health Nurse (RN) role is per diem and onsite in Essex Junction, VT. Compensation is $49–$54 per hour. The nurse supports an onsite occupational health clinic serving employees at the client location. The nurse manages clinic workflow for medical surveillance, injuries, and illness while promoting employee health. The role supports workplace health and safety through onsite treatment, case management, surveillance exams, health education, records, and coordination with client departments.

What you'll do

• Treat and manage onsite injuries
• provide first aid and follow-up care
• manage workers’ compensation and short-term disability cases as needed
• maintain medical records and OSHA records
• schedule and complete medical surveillance exams
• perform surveillance testing as applicable
• provide training as needed
• maintain clinic supplies
• provide preventive health education
• support return-to-work processes
• conduct monthly internal audits and AED checks
• coordinate with safety, HR, supervisors, and other departments.
