Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery Center Per Diem

The Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery Center Per Diem role is onsite in Sequim, WA. Compensation is $42–$46 per hour. Northwest Eyes is an ophthalmic medical and surgical practice providing eye surgery services. The nurse supports perioperative care in the ambulatory surgery center, coordinating with physicians and staff to provide safe patient care before, during, and after procedures.

What you'll do

• Conduct preoperative and postoperative patient calls
• admit and discharge patients
• record and analyze medical histories and conditions
• administer ordered medications and treatments
• perform intraoperative circulation
• develop care plans with healthcare professionals
• discuss treatment plans with physicians and pharmacists
• educate patients and families
• maintain operating room instrument and asepsis knowledge
• follow compliance and confidentiality policies
• oversee medical assistants and surgical technicians. May provide conscious sedation or serve as designated Infection Control Specialist.
