The Senior Cook role is onsite in Jamaica, NY. Compensation is $21–$23 per hour, depending on experience. The position supports the kitchen team at the newly opened Nu3s Market Café. The role helps maintain consistent food quality and service by independently running a station, coordinating kitchen workflow, and supporting other cooks. It also contributes to safe, organized kitchen operations through food-safety practices, inventory support, and clean-up.

What you'll do

• Prepare menu items according to recipe cards
• independently run a station and help coordinate the line
• collaborate with kitchen leadership and staff
• help train prep and line cooks on recipes, procedures, and food safety
• monitor quality, portions, and ticket times
• assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving
• maintain a clean, organized kitchen and report issues or improvement ideas.
