Design Estimator II

Job overview

The Design Estimator II role is hybrid in Grand Prairie, TX, with about 70% of the work able to be done remotely and the remainder involving in-person activities. Compensation is not specified. The role supports Pref-Tech’s Sales team and its security integration projects. The estimator develops estimates for assigned projects, including large and complex work, and helps the sales and operations teams determine design needs. By presenting designs, visiting sites, and developing subject-matter expertise, the role supports customer solutions and project execution.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage assigned sales projects and tasks
• meet with Sales Team Members and Project Managers to prioritize estimation needs
• present designs to sales, operations, and end users as needed
• conduct site visits to determine customer needs
• enter high-security areas when required
• develop sales and design skills and certifications
• mentor Design Estimator I personnel
• and become a subject matter expert in a security integration area.
