Commercial Construction Estimator

Job overview

The Commercial Construction Estimator role is onsite in Miami, FL; the annual salary range is $85,000–$95,000. The estimator supports a growing commercial construction organization with projects across South Florida and other Florida markets. The role develops detailed estimates and bid packages, evaluates subcontractor proposals, and identifies cost and scope risks. Its work strengthens preconstruction planning and supports project handoff and execution across commercial, multifamily, and airport or terminal projects.

What you'll do

• Prepare estimates from conceptual budgeting through final bid
• review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications
• perform quantity takeoffs
• identify scope gaps and cost risks
• solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• level bids
• maintain partner relationships and vendor information
• analyze costs and value-engineering options
• communicate estimate assumptions and support project handoff.
