What you'll do

• Schedule appointments across provider locations using protocols and clinical guidelines
• align appointment placement with patient needs, urgency, provider, visit type, and timeframe
• maintain scheduling templates and manage cancellations and changes
• complete pre-registration and verify demographics, insurance, and guarantor information
• verify eligibility and benefits
• coordinate prior authorizations and referrals
• collaborate with clinical teams and departments to resolve discrepancies
• follow HIPAA, payer, and organizational requirements
• manage work queues and transfer calls as needed.
