The WIC Registered Dietitian role is onsite in Bangor, MI, with pay starting at $25.96 per hour. It is a part-time, 24-hour-per-week position on InterCare Community Health Network’s WIC team, supporting access to quality health care. The dietitian provides nutrition services for WIC clients, including certification-related support, individualized counseling, education, and high-risk care. The role also connects clients with breastfeeding, health, public assistance, and community resources and supports continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group nutrition services
• assess medical and nutrition histories and counsel clients
• set goals and follow up on care plans
• assign and explain food packages
• create nutrition education materials
• refer clients to nutrition, breastfeeding, health, public assistance, and community services
• provide high-risk counseling and individualized care plans
• monitor specialty food requests
• consult with clinic staff and community agencies
• use MI-WIC and the Michigan Care Improvement Registry.
