What you'll do

• Collect blood samples from neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients using established aseptic techniques
• collect throat and nasal cultures
• assist with telephone inquiries
• participate in capillary collection, registration, billing, and specimen processing
• collect chain-of-custody post-accident urine samples and employee drug screens
• maintain supplies and expiration logs
• ensure positive patient and specimen identification and confidentiality
• document specimen collection instructions.
