The Urologist role is onsite in Pueblo, CO, for locum tenens weekend call coverage from January 25 through April 30, 2027. Compensation includes $390 per hour for orientation, $3,895 per 24-hour on-call period, $5,840 per holiday 24-hour on-call period, $390 per hour for call-back, and $585 per hour for holiday call-back. The assignment supports inpatient, emergency department, and trauma urology care at a Level III trauma hospital. The physician independently evaluates and manages inpatient urology patients, responds to emergency consultations, and provides surgical and procedural care for adult and pediatric urologic conditions. Weekend coverage helps ensure access to urgent urology assessment and intervention, with occasional telephone consultations for an affiliated hospital as needed.

Why this role

Coverage is required every weekend from Friday 7:00 a.m. to Monday 7:00 a.m., with 24-hour call shifts; partial weekend coverage is not accepted. Board certification in urology and an active Colorado medical license or IMLC letter of qualification are required; BLS and DEA are highly preferred and required for credentialing.
