What you'll do
- Plan, direct, and evaluate division programs and department activities
- serve on nursing faculty committees and conduct meetings
- coordinate clinical agreements and communication with facilities
- prepare reports for college and regulatory bodies
- maintain agency relationships
- coordinate advisory board activities
- assist students with licensure and NCLEX applications
- plan and revise curriculum
- supervise theory and clinical courses
- establish a yearly budget
- recruit and hire faculty
- evaluate faculty and programs
- support faculty development
- coordinate nursing and allied health programs
- support student recruitment, retention, and advising
- evaluate graduate outcomes.

Why this role
Requires a master’s degree in nursing, five years of varied clinical nursing experience, three years in nursing administration and/or education, teaching experience, and credentials verifying registered nurse status in Kansas. A doctorate and bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
