Laundry Attendant

Job overview

The Laundry Attendant position is full-time and onsite in Portland, CT, with hours scheduled around business and operational needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. The role is part of Yora Nordic Spa’s founding Housekeeping team, preparing linens for the spa’s planned November 2026 opening. The attendant processes, inspects, organizes, and distributes towels, robes, and linens so spa spaces are clean and ready for guests. Careful laundry production and equipment upkeep help maintain a reliable supply and support the guest experience.

What you'll do

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, inspect, fold, store, and distribute linens and washable items
• select appropriate cycles and settings
• use laundry chemicals according to procedures
• rewash, treat, or remove unacceptable items
• maintain clean and safe laundry and storage areas
• clean lint traps and perform required equipment care
• keep clean and soiled linens separate
• complete production and safety records
• report equipment, chemical, supply, or safety concerns
• and support teammates during busy periods.
