Prep Cook — Hotel Culinary Operations

Job overview

The Prep Cook role is onsite in Fredericksburg, TX. Pay is $20 per hour. The position is at Keidel’s Pharmacy within the Albert Hotel, a property with four on-site culinary outlets and event spaces. The cook prepares and cooks dishes consistently according to outlet recipes and procedures, while maintaining safe food handling and clean work areas. The role supports guest service by accommodating noted allergies and dietary restrictions and keeping ingredients and supplies ready for kitchen operations.

What you'll do

• Inspect food preparation and serving areas for safe, sanitary practices
• prepare, season, and cook dishes according to recipes
• address guest allergies and dietary restrictions
• sanitize work areas and equipment
• store food properly
• restock supplies
• test food for doneness
• measure and mix ingredients
• portion and garnish dishes
• regulate cooking equipment
• requisition or retrieve supplies as directed.
