What you'll do

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments
• record treatment time
• secure prescription drugs and biologicals
• notify physicians about refusals, noncompliance, resident responses, and adverse reactions
• maintain medication carts and storage areas
• dispose of sharps correctly
• enter information into EMR systems
• implement and supervise infection-control, universal-precaution, and safety procedures
• respond appropriately to emergencies and disasters.
