What you'll do

• Maintain accurate patient records
• administer medications and monitor for reactions and side effects
• record medical information and vital signs
• monitor and report changes in patient condition
• coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• modify treatment plans as indicated
• monitor patient care including diet and physical activity
• supervise nursing or healthcare personnel as appropriate
• prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• provide health education
• prepare rooms and supplies
• order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
