What you'll do

• Install, splice, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and repair fiber, copper, and coaxial cable systems
• perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• locate and resolve cable faults
• maintain aerial, underground, and direct-buried systems
• perform fiber splicing and testing with OTDRs and power meters
• update cable records and drawings
• inspect outside plant facilities
• support route planning and upgrades
• complete work orders and documentation
• comply with BICSI, OSHA, and DoD requirements.
