Radiologic Technologist

Job overview

The Radiologic Technologist role is onsite in San Jose, CA. Compensation is $40–$45 per hour. The position supports portable radiography services by performing and processing X-rays for interpretation by a radiologist. The technologist transports portable equipment to facilities, produces clinically diagnostic images, and may perform EKGs as needed or if required. The role also maintains exam documentation and communicates with dispatch, management, peers, and clients to support coordinated service delivery.

What you'll do

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment and submit or transmit them to a radiologist
• transport portable X-ray equipment into facilities for physician-ordered exams
• ensure images are clinically diagnostic and technically competent
• perform and transmit EKGs as needed or if required
• scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily
• communicate with dispatch, management, peers, supervisory staff, and clients
• maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment.
