Director of Golf Operations

The Director of Golf Operations role is onsite in Towson, MD, with pay of $140,000–$160,000 per year. The position leads golf operations across Baltimore County Revenue Authority’s five golf courses and four facilities, including a nationally ranked driving range. The director sets operating standards and oversees staff, budgets, revenue programs, customer experience, and facility performance. This leadership helps maintain consistent operations and develop the golf system’s programs, employees, and customer offerings.

What you'll do

• Lead golf operations across BCRA facilities
• develop Head Golf Professionals, managers, and staff
• establish operating standards, policies, pricing, programs, and service expectations
• manage budgets, revenue projections, capital needs, and performance
• monitor operational and financial indicators
• manage vendors, contracts, and technology platforms
• oversee food and beverage, tournaments, instruction, player development, merchandising, and marketing
• oversee junior golf programs and community partnerships
• maintain required licenses and permits
• recruit, coach, evaluate, and develop employees
• visit facilities and report to executive leadership and the BCRA Board.
