Real Estate Litigation Attorney

The Real Estate Litigation Attorney position is onsite in Syracuse, NY. Base compensation is $100,000–$120,000 per year, plus a discretionary performance-based bonus. The role joins a growing real estate litigation practice at the client’s midsized law firm. The attorney handles real estate disputes from case strategy through resolution, representing clients in court and alternative dispute proceedings. The work includes drafting, discovery, depositions, client counseling, and collaboration across practice areas, with a potential path to increased leadership responsibilities and future partnership consideration.

What you'll do

• Handle commercial and residential property, contract, easement, boundary, landlord-tenant, title, construction, foreclosure, and creditor litigation
• develop case strategy
• draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and discovery
• manage discovery
• take and defend depositions
• represent clients in court, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
• counsel clients
• and maintain client relationships.
