The CNC Lathe Machinist, 2nd Shift role is onsite in Mansfield, TX, with compensation of $22–$28 per hour. Vulcan Industrial manufactures precision components for energy, defense, aerospace, and heavy industrial industries. The machinist produces complex components to engineered drawings and specifications, inspecting work and following established processes to meet production and quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Machine components to production standards
• perform in-process inspections
• follow quality assurance documentation and revisions
• verify tooling, gauges, and calibration
• evaluate cutting tool performance
• help develop processes and cycle-time data
• report equipment, material, or drawing issues
• troubleshoot and perform basic autonomous maintenance
• maintain a clean, safe work area
• read program code and meet production deadlines.

Why this role

Monday–Thursday, 4:15 p.m.–2:30 a.m.; 5% pay premium for night shift work; 90% of work time is in air-conditioned facilities.
