Project Manager – Utility-Scale Solar

The Project Manager – Utility-Scale Solar position is based in Goodhue, MN, five days per week, with 20% travel to project sites; compensation is $90,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience. Knobelsdorff is a turnkey specialty contractor working in automation, electrical, energy, and power services. The role leads solar projects from handoff through closeout, maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, budget, safety, and execution. It coordinates customers, field teams, subcontractors, and internal partners to deliver project objectives and support customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Lead multiple solar projects from handoff through closeout
• manage scope, contracts, schedules, budgets, safety, and execution
• coordinate staffing, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
• manage project financials, forecasts, billing, and updates in Viewpoint
• serve as primary customer contact
• coordinate engineering, preconstruction, estimating, and field teams
• support safe field execution
• conduct project meetings and site visits
• manage closeout, invoicing, deliverables, and lessons learned.
