The teacher leads daily classroom routines and learning activities, implements the L.E.A.P. Curriculum, and creates experiences across early literacy, math, language, science, creativity, and social-emotional development. The role includes observing children’s development, maintaining classroom documentation, collaborating with assistant teachers and families, and maintaining a safe, organized classroom while following Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• support early literacy, math, language, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
• encourage independence, problem-solving, communication, and positive peer relationships
• observe development and maintain documentation
• collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff
• communicate with families
• maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom
• follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
