What you'll do

• Audit, supervise the auditing of, and certify claims against the County
• certify fund availability for requisitions, contracts, purchase orders, and other documents
• conduct special audits at the Legislature’s request
• participate in audits of county departments, contract agencies, and programs involving county funds
• provide financial and statistical data
• prepare audit reports and recommendations
• attend scheduled evening legislative meetings and October budget meetings.
