CNC Setup Machinist — First Shift

The CNC Setup Machinist is an onsite role in Georgetown, TX, on the first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Compensation is $22–$30 per hour. Schunk Xycarb Technology’s Georgetown facility is its Americas headquarters and Global Center of Excellence for quartz design, production, and reconditioning. The machinist produces quartz components to customer specifications and quality standards by setting up and operating CNC equipment, adjusting offsets, and inspecting finished parts. The work supports the facility’s production of materials and components for the semiconductor industry.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills
• set and adjust work and tooling offsets
• operate manual machining equipment as needed
• read basic G and M code
• interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
• inspect parts with precision measuring instruments
• maintain a safe, organized work area.
