The Shelter Advocate — Weekend role is onsite in Boston, MA, working Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Pay is $25 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour for Saturday and Sunday hours. The role advances the organization’s mission by helping guests remain sheltered, safe, and healthy while preserving their dignity and confidentiality.

What you'll do

• Provide a welcoming and secure environment for overnight guests
• intervene respectfully in crises or emergencies
• maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• supervise volunteers on overnight shifts
• restock supplies, log inventory, and complete housekeeping tasks
• record shift activity in Salesforce
• answer phones and inquiries
• manage the guest services calendar and track daily services.
