What you'll do

• Conduct preoperative assessments and verify documentation, labs, and consents
• educate patients
• initiate IV access, administer medications, and prepare patients for surgery. Monitor patients in PACU, assess airway, vital signs, pain, and surgical sites, document care in the EMR, communicate patient status, support safe discharge or inpatient transfer, maintain area readiness, and participate in education and quality improvement. Sign up for at least one shift weekly and three weekday call shifts monthly
• be available for 10-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM as needed.
