Rest Area Attendant

The Rest Area Attendant role is onsite in Palm City, FL. Compensation is not specified. Advanced Employment Services, a division of The ARC of the Treasure Coast, staffs the I-95 northbound and southbound rest areas and connects the work to the organization’s community mission. The attendant helps keep public rest areas clean, safe, and welcoming for travelers. Routine housekeeping, supply restocking, and litter pickup support the upkeep of the facilities and surrounding public areas.

What you'll do

• Sweep and mop floors
• clean baseboards, stall walls, ceiling fixtures, and vents
• empty and sanitize waste bins
• clean and sanitize restrooms
• restock restroom supplies
• organize office and storage areas
• pick up litter in landscaping, picnic areas, and around entrance and exit ramps
• maintain foyer areas and wipe down fountains, benches, bulletin boards, and newspaper racks
• follow safety guidelines.
