Group Therapist — Substance Use Disorder Programs

The Group Therapist role is onsite at Personalized Nursing LIGHT House locations in Southeast Michigan, with positions based in Madison Heights and Plymouth; coverage at other locations may be needed. The listing gives an hourly rate of $23–$25. Personalized Nursing LIGHT House provides behavioral healthcare and substance use disorder treatment using its LIGHT Model of care. The therapist facilitates structured group sessions that support recovery, emotional wellness, coping skills, insight, and peer connection. The role also documents client progress and collaborates with the treatment team to support continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions in a safe, respectful, structured environment
• assess client needs and participation and adjust content as clinically appropriate
• encourage engagement and manage group dynamics
• develop group topics, therapeutic activities, and psychoeducational content aligned with treatment goals
• maintain timely, accurate, confidential documentation
• collaborate with the treatment team
• support a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment
• travel between PNLH locations and provide coverage as needed.

Multiple full-time, part-time, evening, weekend, and contingent schedules are listed.
