What you'll do

• Develop and implement activities supporting preschool children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• lead team meetings and weekly lesson planning
• supervise and support classroom staff
• implement Head Start, NAEYC, and DC standards and the HighScope curriculum
• observe and document children’s progress
• conduct screenings and refer children as appropriate
• collaborate on IFSPs and IEPs
• build relationships with families and conduct conferences and home visits
• maintain classroom health, safety, and sanitation.
