The Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) role is an onsite, full-time, first-shift position serving New Beginning’s sites in Waverly and Howard Lake, MN. Compensation is $66,000–$75,000 per year. EOSIS provides behavioral health and addiction recovery services through treatment centers in Minnesota. Reporting to the Counselor Supervisor, the counselor delivers chemical-health education and therapeutic interventions to support recovery. The role performs screening, intake, assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, client education, referrals, documentation, and coordination with other professionals and community resources.
What you'll do
- Perform screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, group and individual counseling, case management, crisis intervention, client education, referrals, reports, and recordkeeping
- consult with other professionals about client treatment
- coordinate treatment and recovery services and connect clients with community resources
- communicate with payers and obtain funding authorization
- maintain professional licensure
- attend staff in-services and meetings.
