Veterinary Callback & Preventive Care Team Member

Job overview

The Veterinary Callback & Preventive Care Team Member role is onsite in Hattiesburg, MS, with a Monday–Friday schedule between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $12–$13 per hour. The role supports Animal Medical Center of Hattiesburg’s veterinary team in coordinating recommended patient care. The team member identifies pets due or overdue for care and contacts owners to explain recommendations, arrange appointments, and follow through. Accurate records, client education, and coordination with veterinarians, technicians, and Client Relations help turn recommended preventive and follow-up care into completed care.

What you'll do

• Contact clients about pets due or overdue for vaccines, examinations, diagnostics, preventives, and other recommended services
• follow up on veterinarian recommendations
• help schedule appointments
• review records and reminders
• identify care gaps
• educate clients
• document communications
• update patient information
• coordinate with veterinarians, technicians, and Client Relations
• maintain callback lists.
