CT Technologist

What you'll do

• Verify patient identity and physician orders
• explain procedures to patients and families
• obtain and document patient histories
• perform CT and related patient-care procedures
• place IVs as required for contrast
• operate CT equipment and perform quality control and assurance testing
• monitor patient safety
• relay STAT requests to the radiologist
• clean and stock the exam room
• use hospital systems and coordinate with medical and support staff.
