Director of Human Resources (Part-Time)

What you'll do

• Ensure employment-law compliance and proper worker classification
• audit HR practices and prioritize risk gaps
• develop and maintain the employee handbook, SOPs, job descriptions, and workflows
• manage hiring and onboarding
• select and manage HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping tools
• partner with safety leadership on OSHA, incident reporting, and workers’ compensation
• coach managers
• manage employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions
• coordinate performance reviews and improvement plans
• develop pay bands
• oversee benefits and open enrollment
• lead engagement and retention initiatives.
