Shipping Technician Full-Time

The Shipping Technician Full-Time role is an onsite position located in De Pere, WI. Compensation is not specified for this role, which supports the production operations at Green Bay Packaging Inc. This role exists to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including driving a forklift, scanning inventory, and creating shipping documentation. The technician works in a team-based system and must be able to work all shifts, including rotating or straight night shifts.

What you'll do

• Work safely and follow all related policies and programs to assure a safe working environment.
• Drive forklift to load and unload items from trailers.
• Accurately report items loaded, unloaded, time, etc.
• Scan in assigned inventory items for accurate inventory.
• Maintain inventory of finished goods and plant supplies.
• Create computer generated and manual Bill of Ladings when needed.
• Contact carriers for outbound shipments.
• Load trucks according to customer specifications.
• Place protective sheets and pads on unit loads and bands per instructions.
• Mark unit loads as required.
• Track inventory of banding sheets and pads and notify manager of items needed.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
