Generator Technician

The position supports a service network for industrial power products serving customers including hospitals, data centers, commercial truck fleets, and the U.S. military. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains power-generation equipment and fire-pump drivers, including emergency field service. The work helps customers maintain reliable standby power through equipment troubleshooting, testing, and repair.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild standby generators and fire-pump drivers
• service fuel, cooling, and electrical systems
• maintain third-party power-generation equipment
• operate load banks and record readings
• operate and maintain service trucks
• manage assigned parts and tool inventories
• stay current on product modifications and technical specifications.
