Visitor Services Representative

The Visitor Services Representative role is onsite in Newburyport, MA. Pay is $19–$21 per hour. The position supports visitor engagement at Joppa Flats Education Center, which provides nature and conservation education, and serves as an ambassador for Mass Audubon's conservation mission.

What you'll do

• Welcome visitors and provide information about the center, sanctuary, programs, local area, and Mass Audubon.
• Assist with program sign-in, update visitor materials, promote membership, operate the gift shop point-of-sale, maintain displays, and handle opening and closing procedures.
• Support volunteers, keep public areas tidy, and assist with special events.
• Serve as the primary emergency communication contact when required by standing procedures.
