Control Technician 1

The Control Technician 1 role is an onsite, full-time position in Charlotte, NC. Compensation is not specified. M.C. Dean designs, builds, operates, and maintains power and technology solutions for mission-critical facilities and infrastructure. The technician fabricates and installs control panels, commissions panels and field instrumentation, and troubleshoots and calibrates instruments and controls. The role also tests and documents completed work and updates panel drawings while following work instructions and safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Read work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials and assembly sequence
• build and mount panels, make panel penetrations, wire panels, and perform cosmetic repairs
• safely use and maintain hand and power tools
• follow company procedures and safety practices
• support field installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, analysis, documentation, and drawing updates.
