What you'll do
- Direct daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses and certified nursing assistants in accordance with regulations and facility policies
- promote holistic resident care
- participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers as required
- assess changes in residents' status, notify the physician and resident's family or representative, and document accordingly
- transcribe physician orders to the medical record and carry them out as written. Requires an accredited nursing degree, current unrestricted RN license in the practicing state, and current CPR certification. Long-term-care experience is preferred but not required.
