Outpatient Mental Health Clinician - Behavioral Health Atrium This is an onsite position in Peoria, IL. The compensation range for this position is $30.24 per hour - $52.01 per hour. The Clinician provides psychotherapy to patients in the area of Psychiatry/Psychology.

What you'll do

• Provides ongoing psychotherapy to patients of all ages and their families through individual and/or group settings, using techniques and interventions individualized to the patient.
• Performs initial mental health evaluations for patients, including assessing need for ongoing psychotherapy or other services.
• Works with patient to develop treatment plan, including specific goals and objectives to be addressed in psychotherapy.
• Provides case management, referrals, and discharge planning. Coordinates treatment and/or discharge with significant others, caregivers, employers, schools, involved welfare agencies, psychiatrist, and any other care provider as appropriate with permission of patient.
• Identifies clinically appropriate level of care; facilitates transition between levels of care within Behavioral Health.
• Assists with obtaining authorization for services whenever necessary.
• Completes clinical documentation in medical record within guidelines and timeframes established by departmental policy. Ensures documentation is timely, concise, relevant, and meets payor/legal requirements.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and fulfills provider responsibilities as specified under HIPAA, the Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code, and the Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Confidentiality Act.

What we're looking for

Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, related field.
