The Lead Teacher role is onsite in Williston, VT, at a year-round school operating Monday–Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pay is $23–$25 per hour for qualified Lead Teacher candidates. Heartworks Early Education is part of Babilou Family US, which provides early education and child care through schools in New England. The Lead Teacher creates a safe, nurturing learning environment, designs and implements curriculum, guides teaching staff, and supports children’s development. The role also builds family partnerships and models sustainable education practices that support children’s learning and well-being.

What you'll do

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans
• lead classroom routines and organization
• assist with staff supervision, hiring, training, coaching, and performance feedback
• supervise children during activities and transitions
• observe and document development
• communicate with families
• maintain required certifications and participate in training
• report suspected child abuse, neglect, or endangerment as a mandated reporter.
